**Outstanding** Little Angels !

We are extremely proud of our most recent Ofsted Inspection September 2017, grading us as Outstanding in all areas!

Rated ‘Outstanding’ across all 4 inspection categories, namely:

Effectiveness of the leadership and management

Quality of teaching, learning and assessment

Personal development, behaviour and welfare

Outcomes for children

The standards that Ofsted inspect against have been consistently raised year on year, resulting in a lot of lower gradings within the sector, which makes achieving this result all the more impressive!

Key points (of which there were many) :

“the manager and staff have an excellent understanding of the developmental needs of all children”

“ the manager and staff have exceptionally warm and secure attachments to the children”

“Extremely thorough assessment of children information and meticulous planning means that any potential need is recognised and met very quickly”

“the manager is highly effective at evaluating the provision and staff practice”

“children’s behaviour is excellent”

“all children make excellent progress in their learning”

“children’s health and well being are meaningfully enhanced by the excellent teaching of care and hygiene practices”

“children are continually motivated to build on their learning”

“children are encouraged extremely well to respect and value one another”

“staff are extremely successful in supporting children’s emotional development”

“staff teach children exceptionally well about mathematical concepts”

“staff prepare the children extremely well for their move to school”

This very positive result is a culmination of over three years of hard work by the staff, without whose dedication and commitment this would not have been possible – something that I know we all fully appreciate.

On behalf of the Little Angels team I would personally like to thank all our former and current ‘Little Angels’ and their parents and carers for your kind words and for being so supportive.
